Temporary Support During Power Line Tower Assembly
Temporary support and ground clearance for steel tower sections weighing up to 4 metric tonnes
- Sector
- Infrastructure & Construction
1.2–4 metric tonnes
Load supported per tower
No soil contact
Prevents direct soil contact during assembly
The challenge
During power line tower assembly and erection, steel members cannot rest on natural soils — contact with the ground causes corrosion that compromises structural integrity.
What we supplied
Our geotextile sandbags provide both stabilisation and ground clearance during these interim periods, supporting loads of 1.2 to 4 metric tonnes depending on tower type.
The result
The bags' puncture resistance and load-bearing capacity make them ideal for heavy infrastructure — performing reliably under sustained pressure without deforming or degrading.
