The challenge
A steep coastal property required reinforcement of a landscaped slope to help retain soil and stabilise the area around the property.
What we supplied
We supplied sandbags to construct a flexible retaining structure along the slope. The bags were stacked to form the retaining wall, with the structure subsequently covered with soil and incorporated into the surrounding landscaping.
The result
The sandbag retaining structure provided a practical foundation for stabilising the landscaped slope while allowing the finished installation to blend naturally into its surroundings. Once covered with soil and vegetation, the retaining structure became integrated into the property's existing landscape.
